Killer Mindset Makes a Killer Trader

I talk a lot about mindset.

You must be patient, control your emotions, and put in the work to study and prepare. More importantly, you must maintain a disciplined mindset throughout your trading journey.

These attributes separate the 10% of successful traders from the 90% who fail.

Remember, it’s not the market you’re competing against. It’s the person you see in the mirror every morning. Your success in trading is a reflection of who you see.

I’ve worked with many traders over the years, and I’m proud to have helped many of them achieve the independence that comes from consistent, steady improvement.

But that discipline needs a source.

It needs motivation to maintain. And I can think of no better example of a guy that tapped that source than Jack Kellogg.

Over the last few years, he’s racked up over $12 million in trading profits.

He’s a killer.

And today, I want to share his story to help spur you along your journey.

Getting Your Head in the Game

Jack was only 19 when he decided to take control of his life and create a path to independence.

Working as a valet, he took the $7,500 in his savings account and turned it into an 8 million dollar portfolio by trading a select stock niche.

Of course, he lost money out of the gate – that’s unavoidable.

But he didn’t quit. He worked harder.

He also found Tim Sykes, whom I had discovered years earlier, to help me take my trading to the next level.

And that’s when trading started to click for him.

He put in 90-hour weeks between odd jobs and studied every chance he got.

All along, Jack knew he could do it. And he wanted it.

That fueled his motivation to approach trading with the discipline it takes to succeed.

I spoke to Jack back in 2020 not long after trading began to click for him.

He’s made millions since. But I want you to see the mindset that got him there BEFORE he made those millions.

So, check out that conversation in the video below to see a killer mindset in action.

Until next time,
